Pilothouse

Recently refit, the Calusa's pilothouse is the envy of any yachtsman.  With five, forward-facing windows with pantographic wipers, her appearance is that of a yacht much larger. 

Her console is equipped with all Furuno Electronics. TZT2-BB's power five Seatronix touch screens. CHIRRP sounder, 96 mile digital radar, Furuno  and Simrad autopilots (redundancy), Naiad stabilizers and N2K Icom VHFs, and Victron battery management system. 

All of the aforementioned is networked with a robust Furuno NMEA2000 network that travels the vessel stem to stern, top to bottom giving the captain information on everything he could ever want to know from barometric pressure, wind speed, transmission pressures, to the air temp in the engine room. 

Her Furuno SCX30 Satellite compass provides the system with 4-axis positioning of the Calusa allowing for logging of roll and pitch as well independent movements of the bow and stern. This level of data compliments the effectiveness of both the radar and all three sounders.
